Wordpress Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in developing custom themes, plugins, and optimizing WordPress websites for performance, SEO, and scalability. You'll work closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to create high-quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Convert design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD, etc.) into responsive WordPress themes.
• Optimize websites for speed and performance (Core Web Vitals).
• Implement and manage third-party integrations (APIs, payment gateways, CRM tools).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plugins, themes, and hosting.
• Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaborate with content, SEO, and design teams to improve UX/UI.
• Maintain documentation of development processes and updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience building custom themes and plugins from scratch.
• Familiarity with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.).
• Deep understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
• Experience with WooCommerce, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and CPTs.
• Knowledge of Git version control and deployment workflows.
• Experience with website performance optimization (caching, lazy load, etc.).
• Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
