Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior BI Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI, MySQL, MSSQL, and a deep understanding of Finance and FP&A processes. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Finance and leadership teams to deliver high-impact dashboards, insights, and financial analytics to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, enhance, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for Finance and FP&A teams.

· Build and optimize data models using DAX, Power Query, and BI best practices.

· Extract, transform, and manage data from MySQL and MS SQL Server databases.

· Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformations for financial reporting.

· Support FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, headcount analysis, and profitability reporting.

· Translate business requirements from Finance into scalable BI solutions and analytical data models.

· Ensure high levels of data accuracy, validation, and governance across financial datasets.

· Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and FP&A teams to understand business processes, KPIs, and reporting needs.

· Provide actionable insights to Finance leadership through clear visualizations and data storytelling.

· Identify gaps or inefficiencies in financial reporting processes and recommend BI-driven improvements.

· Automate recurring financial reports and manual data processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.

· Document BI models, datasets, logic, and workflows for transparency and future reference.

· Work with cross-functional teams to align on data structures, business rules, and KPI definitions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 8+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.

· Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling).

· Advanced SQL skills in MySQL and MS SQL Server databases.

· Solid understanding of Finance and FP&A concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, variance analysis, and financial KPIs.

· Strong business understanding with ability to translate financial needs into BI solutions.

· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

· Ability to partner with CFO, FP&A, and Finance teams effectively.

· Experience in a fast-paced environment with end-to-end BI ownership.
