Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter to join our Human Resources team, specializing in talent acquisition for the API pharmaceutical industry. The Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and placing top-tier talent in roles such Production Chemists, Engineering, QA, QC, Manufacturing Supervisors etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the API pharmaceutical sector, excellent networking skills, and a passion for connecting skilled professionals with opportunities that advance pharmaceutical innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates for API-related roles, including R&D, manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory affairs, using job boards, LinkedIn, industry networks, and modern recruiting techniques.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting and candidate screening to interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Candidate Assessment: Evaluate candidates technical skills (e.g., knowledge of cGMP, GLP, USP, ICH guidelines), experience in API manufacturing, and cultural fit with the organization.
  • Candidate Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a network of professionals in the API pharmaceutical industry to ensure a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Data Management: Generate on-demand reports related to recruitment activity and sourcing campaigns, using MS Office and Fame Software.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field. A degree in a scientific discipline is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3-5 years in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, preferably with a focus on API manufacturing or related roles.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with API pharmaceutical processes (e.g., synthesis, process development, quality control) and regulatory requirements (e.g., cGMP, FDA, ICH). Understanding of roles such as analytical chemists, process engineers, or microbiologists is highly desirable.
  • Skills:

  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other platforms.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess candidates' technical expertise and cultural alignment.
  • Knowledge of modern recruiting techniques, including social media and passive candidate sourcing.

  • Certifications: HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) or recruitment certifications are a plus.

  • Other Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain confidentiality. Willingness to attend industry events or trade shows to network with talent.
