Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate and experienced Math Tutors to support students in Middle School (Grades K–8) and High School ( US). The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, patient, and able to explain math concepts clearly in an online setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in subjects such as Trigonometry, Genetics, Electrical Engineering, and Data Structures.
  • Conduct one-on-one online tutoring sessions for elementary and middle school students.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Assess students' learning needs and tailor lessons accordingly.
  • Reinforce math concepts through practice problems, visuals, and interactive tools.
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Track and report student progress.
  • Collaborate with eTutorsZone's academic team to align with curriculum goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Education or Math-related field preferred).
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience in math at the elementary or middle school level.
  • Strong command of grade-appropriate math content (including arithmetic, fractions, decimals, basic geometry, and pre-algebra).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable using online tools (Zoom, Google Meet, whiteboards, etc.).
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Teaching certification (optional but a plus).
  • Experience with U.S. Common Core Math Standards.
  • Patience, empathy, and a growth mindset approach.
