Job Description:

• Timely completion of information technology and information security audits in a manner that is consistent with the professional standards
• Adequately analyze and document all information technology and related controls and develop an appropriate audit program to test the controls identified.
• Evaluate the adequacy of security and processing controls as they relate to each audit, and the effectiveness of general IT controls within the IT environment.
• Monitor the project status of new systems development, disaster recovery testing, and the clients business continuity plan, and other activities related to IT processing.
• Review the reliability and integrity of clients financial and operating information and the means used to identify, measure, classify, and report such information.
• Review the means of safeguarding information assets and monitor ongoing performance metrics established by the IT and Security Departments.
• Drive the Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ) process designed to assess the design and operating effectiveness of existing controls.
• Assign control activities to owners and ensure that they carry out these activities.
• Educate control owners as appropriate to ensure understanding of controls assigned.
• Respond to client inquires on the audit reports – i.e. testing exceptions, control remediation, etc.
• Prepare audit work papers according to established corporate guidelines and industry standards, and as applicable create audit reports.
• Provide a sound basis for the "Management Assertion" in the audit reports.
• Periodically report to management on the state of IT controls including control deficiencies in need of remediation.

Skills and Experience

• 2-4 years of hands-on audit experience in IT general controls, SOC and IT audits.
• Experience in creating and maintaining detailed documentation of control environment using risk/control matrices and flow diagrams.
• Expertise in IT Audit, IT General Controls, IT Application level controls and procedure development and frameworks and regulations, and other data privacy and security standards and regulations.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Blockchain, etc.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge and a proven record of success in managing different phases of projects involving planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.
• Ability to effectively communicate with US based counterparts and depict strong written and verbal communication and technical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast paced interactive, results-based team environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team at a high level.
• Knowledge of Ability to design controls in support of achieving control objectives.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in management information systems or related field
• Appropriate professional certification preferred – e.g. CISA.
