Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in Financial Services Operations (FSO) to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow-based solutions for the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) domain.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, hands-on development experience, and a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and performance-driven FSO implementations.

Key Responsibilities


• Design and develop ServiceNow FSO solutions, including configuration, scripting, and custom application development.


• Implement and enhance FSO data models for banking and insurance operations (Client, Account, Case, Product, Interaction, etc.).


• Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.


• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and process consultants to translate business requirements into effective technical designs.


• Configure and integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.


• Ensure compliance with platform governance, coding standards, and security best practices.


• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines.


• Support platform upgrades, patching, and release management.


• Mentor junior developers and contribute to ServiceNow best practices and reusable components.

Required Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.


• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Financial Services Operations (FSO), including data model, workflows, and use cases.


• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Script Includes, and Business Rules.


• Experience with Service Portal, UI Builder, and Workspace configuration.


• Strong understanding of ITSM, CSM, or SPM modules.


• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integrations (REST/SOAP, JSON, XML).


• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps processes.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)


• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)


• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – FSO (Banking or Insurance)


• Experience in AI/GenAI integration or Now Assist for FSO


• Familiarity with IRM, BCM, or GRC modules
