Prepare, review, and optimize CNC programs for laser cutting machines.
Import and interpret 2D/3D CAD files for programming and nesting.
Select suitable cutting parameters, including speed, power, and assist gases, based on material type and thickness.
Perform nesting for best material utilization and minimal scrap.
Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure program accuracy and manufacturability.
Troubleshoot cutting quality issues and suggest corrective actions.
Maintain an organized library of laser cutting programs and related documents.
Monitor machine performance and assist in preventive maintenance planning.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
