About the RoleWe are looking for a visionary Director of Engineering – Semiconductor Design to lead, scale, and deliver across multiple verticals, including RTL Design, Functional Verification, DFT, Physical Design, and Custom Layout. This is a senior leadership role that combines technical depth, people leadership, and strategic execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and scale teams across ASIC Design, Functional Verification, DFT, and Physical Design. Drive execution of complex SoC programs, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Provide strong leadership for our established Semiconductor Design practices, including methodology refinement, training, and client engagement.

Define and evolve technical processes, quality benchmarks, and execution models. Collaborate with customers on project planning, technical reviews, and roadmap alignment. Mentor senior engineers and build a strong second line of technical leadership.

Support business teams in shaping proposals, capabilities, and long-term relationships. Required Skills & ExpertiseDeep technical expertise in at least one core area: Functional Verification, DFT, RTL Design, Physical Design, or Custom Layout. Strong understanding of DFT methodologies and UVM-based Verification and SoC-level testbenches is a big advantage.

Familiarity with leading EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens (Mentor). Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven track record of delivering complex semiconductor programs in a leadership capacity.

Experience15 years in semiconductor design, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. Experience in customer-facing roles, leading delivery across multiple domains or teams. Prior background in services or consulting environment is a strong plus.
