About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Service Logistics Supervisor to manage and
streamline logistics operations across 100+ service centers in India. The role involves end-to-end
logistics management, vendor development, TAT monitoring, reverse logistics optimization, and
ensuring cost-effective, timely, and reliable movement of materials.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Logistics Management
* Oversee outward, inward, and reverse pickup logistics for all service centers.
* Ensure smooth movement of parts, products, and returns across multiple regions.
2. Vendor Development & Management
* Identify, negotiate, and onboard reliable logistics vendors.
* Monitor vendor SLAs to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
3. TAT (Turnaround Time) Monitoring
* Set clear benchmarks for pickup and delivery timelines.
* Continuously track, analyze, and improve vendor performance Reverse
Logistics Optimization
* Manage return pickups from service centers and customers.
* Implement measures to minimize delays and reduce costs.
5. MIS & Reporting
* Prepare and circulate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
* Track shipment status, delays, vendor efficiency, and cost analysis.
6. Cost Control & Optimization
• Continuously monitor freight and handling charges
.
* Identify leakages and implement cost-saving initiatives.
7. Coordination with Service Centers
* Act as the central point of contact for all logistics-related matters.
* Ensure timely communication and support to service centers.
8. Issue Resolution
* Address escalations related to delayed shipments, missing parts, or vendor noncompliance.
* Implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
9. Compliance & Documentation
* Maintain proper shipment records, vendor contracts, invoices, and statutory documents.
* Ensure compliance with GST, e-way bills, and other legal requirements.
10. Process Improvement
* Regularly review logistics workflows.
* Suggest and implement improvements for speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
* Strong understanding of vendor management, TAT tracking, and reverse logistics.
* Proficiency in MIS reporting and logistics cost analysis.
* Hands-on experience with compliance (GST, e-way bills, etc.).
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
