Position Overview:

Siddhu Consultancy Services Private Limited
are seeking a
Senior Accountant
to become a cornerstone of our client. In this critical role, you will not just manage the books—you will be a key player in ensuring financial accuracy, driving process improvements, and providing the insights that shape our future.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the Close:
Lead and execute the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger, journal entries, and the monthly/quarterly/annual close.

·       
Drive Financial Integrity:
Ensure the accuracy of our financial records by expertly managing reconciliations, payables, receivables, and intercompany transactions.

·       
Power Decision-Making:
Collaborate with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis that informs strategic decisions.

·       
Ensure Compliance:
Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure all activities adhere to accounting policies and external regulations.

·       
Lead the Audit:
Prepare comprehensive documentation and serve as a primary contact for internal and external auditors.

·       
Find a Better Way:
Proactively identify and implement improvements to our accounting systems and workflows.

·       
Build Partnerships:
Work cross-functionally with other teams to align on financial reporting needs and operational goals.

Qualifications:

·       
Experience:
At least 5+ years in a hands-on accounting role.

·       
Education:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.

·       
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS. Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel.

·       
Key Traits:
Exceptional analytical skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

·       
Team Player:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with others.

Bonus Points:

·       CPA or CMA certification.

·       Experience in a specific industry relevant to our business.

·       Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

·       A track record of leading or contributing to process improvement projects
