Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Formulation Scientist located in Gurugram. The Formulation Scientist will be responsible for conducting research and development (R&D) of new products, ensuring high-quality formulations, and enhancing existing products. The day-to-day tasks include experimenting in the lab, performing trials, optimizing formulations, and supporting technology transfer processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards is also part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in laboratory skills and hands-on experience with product formulation processes

  • Expertise in research and development (R&D), including experimenting and developing innovative hair care products
  • Demonstrated knowledge in technology transfer activities to scale formulations into production
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in cosmetic formulations
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related field
  • Previous experience in the Hair care industry is an added advantage
