About the job
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and collaboration across engineering teams. Your contributions will ensure the seamless delivery of projects that align with our organisation's goals, directly shaping the success of our product offerings.
You will oversee daily project operations, facilitating sprints, managing dependencies, and resolving blockers to keep teams on track. By liaising with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders, you'll ensure clarity and alignment on priorities and objectives. This role sits at the intersection of product and engineering, acting as a bridge to foster communication and collaboration Your work will enhance team productivity, improve delivery practices, and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged, ultimately impacting the business at a strategic level
Job Goals
- Drive the successful execution of projects across cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
- Facilitate core agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming to foster team collaboration and efficiency.
- Resolve blockers and manage dependencies to maintain momentum across teams and ensure seamless delivery.
- Enhance transparency by maintaining clear documentation, reporting project updates, and communicating risks effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product owners and engineering leads to refine priorities, scope tasks, and improve delivery practices for continuous growth.
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
- Strong understanding and practical application of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including experience facilitating core ceremonies across multiple teams, with at least 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ADO, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies and resolve blockers in cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Familiarity with modern software development workflows, including CI/CD, version control systems, APIs, and cloud-native environments.
- Ability to maintain clear and detailed project documentation, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives among diverse stakeholders.
Bonus points for:
- Technical background as a developer, QA engineer, or systems analyst.
- Experience working with DevOps teams or infrastructure-focused initiatives.
- Experience in a SaaS, data-driven, or analytics-heavy product environment.
- Familiarity with compliance or security-oriented project management.
