The Role

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished, polished project that aligns with our brand's vision and storytelling goals. This role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and expert technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit Content: Edit and assemble raw video footage into compelling finished products, including YouTube videos, social media ads (Reels/TikTok), corporate testimonials, or documentary-style films.]}$.
  • Post-Production Workflow: Manage the entire post-production process, including syncing audio/video, creating a rough cut, conducting fine-tuning, and delivering final masters.
  • Enhancements: Input music, dialogue, graphics, visual effects, and sound effects to enhance video appeal and narrative flow.
  • Color & Sound: Perform color correction/grading and audio mixing/sound design to ensure high-quality and consistent brand standards across all videos.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with $\text{[Director, Content Strategists, Marketing Team, to understand project scope, objectives, and deliver edits based on creative feedback.
  • Organization: Log, organize, and archive all project media and assets for easy retrieval and future use.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with digital media trends, editing techniques, and software to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our video content.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: $\text{[X]}$+ years of proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong, diverse portfolio/showreel.
  • Software Expertise: Expert proficiency in industry-standard editing software, particularly $\text{[Specify 1-2 primary software, e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro X]}$.
  • Motion Graphics: Solid understanding and proficiency in motion graphics is a major plus, specifically using $\text{[e.g., Adobe After Effects]}$.
  • Storytelling: Demonstrable ability to create a clear narrative and maintain continuity, motivation, and visual flow.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, compression standards, and optimization for various digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Web, etc.).

Preferred Qualities
