  • Operational Risk Management (ORM)
  • Lead and oversee Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSA) across business units.
  • Identify, assess, and document operational risks related to processes, systems, people, and external factors.
  • Maintain and continuously update the Operational Risk Register.
  • Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), track breaches, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for operational incidents, losses, and near-miss events.
  • Evaluate internal control design and effectiveness, and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Review process flows, SOPs, and identify areas for control improvement.
  • Identify and assess strategic, financial, compliance, credit, operational, and reputational risks.
  • Facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessments in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Develop risk heat maps, dashboards, and support the creation of the Risk Appetite Statement.
  • Track emerging risks and analyze their potential impact on the organization.
  • Ensure robust adherence to internal policies and applicable regulatory guidelines (RBI/SEBI/NBFC, as relevant).
  • Work closely with Internal Audit, Compliance, and Finance for integrated risk governance.
  • Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP), disaster recovery testing, and policy reviews.
  • Assist in preparing risk committee presentations, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare periodic risk reports for senior management and the Board Risk Committee.
  • Develop comprehensive dashboards for key risk metrics using Excel or BI tools.
  • Present risk insights, trends, and mitigation progress to stakeholders.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Risk Management, preferably within NBFCs, BFSI, housing finance, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Operational Risk, ERM frameworks, RCSA, KRI, BCP/DR, and Risk Appetite concepts.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.
  • Experience in designing policies, risk registers, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in risk tools, MIS, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • MBA (Finance/Risk), CA, FRM, CRM, or equivalent professional qualifications preferred.
