Role Description: Senior Video Editor (On-Site, Kochi)

We are looking for a 
Senior Video Editor
 to join our creative team in Kochi.

This is a 
full-time, on-site role
 ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced creative environments and understands how to create 
impactful short-form video content
 that drives engagement across digital platforms.

The Senior Video Editor will lead the post-production process for various projects — with a strong focus on 
social media reels, brand videos, ads, and motion-based storytelling
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce 
    high-quality short-form video content
     (Reels, Shorts, Ads, etc.) optimized for digital platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute visually compelling ideas.
  • Add 
    motion graphics, text animations, AR effects, and sound design
     to enhance viewer experience.
  • Ensure consistency in 
    visual tone, color, and branding
     across all deliverables.
  • Stay ahead of 
    industry trends, editing styles, and social media content formats.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and creative standards are met.
  • Provide creative input during shoots and content ideation sessions.
  • Organize raw footage, maintain project files, and ensure smooth workflow management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a 
    Video Editor
    , with a strong portfolio in 
    short-form and social media content.
  • Proficiency in tools such as 
    Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
  • Strong understanding of 
    motion graphics, video composition, pacing, and color grading.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in 
    Kochi
    .
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Multimedia, Design, or related field preferred.

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with 
    AI and AR tools
     used in modern video production.
  • Experience with 
    shoot direction or on-set assistance.
  • Understanding of 
    social media analytics and content performance optimization.
