Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Developer with expertise in Assembler, IDMS,PL/1, JCL , Jobtrac etc.,

This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multilocation team environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Application Development: Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using Assembler, IDMS, PL/1, JCL and Endevor.

· System Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications to ensure they meet current business needs.

· Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

· Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mainframe applications, resolving issues promptly.

· Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed applications and systems.

· Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

· Experience: Minimum of 20+ years of experience in mainframe application development and maintenance, Support with a strong focus on Assembler, IDMS, PL/1, JCL and Endevor

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Assembler, IDMS, PL/1, JCL and Endevor. Familiarity with other mainframe technologies is a plus.

· Domain Skills: Excellent domain knowledge in investment banking and knowledge of banking products like Datastream is very critical

· Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

· Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

JD for the role of Chandra Buddha

We are seeking hands-on senior QA Specialist responsible for testing of investment banking applications written in .NET and Mainframe platforms. Experienced in working in cross functional and multi-location teams. Good understanding of leading financial products like Datastream.

Key Responsibilities

Senior QA Specialist

- Have a good understanding of overall QA processes

- Hands on experience in QA execution, QA life cycle

- Plan the work received and prioritize it in agreement with stakeholders

- Review the work done by the team and provide suggestions in presenting it to the wider audience

- Provide accurate estimates on the deliverables and encourage/make sure to complete the work by the team within those timelines

- Having good understanding on the automation (framework, Selenium tool, Typescript) and hands on experience is preferred.

- Good understanding on the performance requirements, metrics and usage of JMeter tool.

- Implement new processes in the team and maintain the quality of the testing is never compromised

Qualifications

· 15+ years of experience in establishing QA processes and testing of Banking domain applications

· Have good communication and strong analytical skills

· Experience in conducting various tests in SDLC process

· Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
