Job Title: Purchase Assistant

Location: Bhosari, Pune

*Job Overview*

We are seeking a Purchase Assistant with strong knowledge of ERP and Excel to manage and streamline the purchase process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in SPM/Heavy Fabrication industry and play a key role in ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement of materials.

*Key Responsibilities*

Handle end-to-end purchase activities including vendor management, quotation comparison, and order finalization.

Maintain accurate purchase records using ERP systems and Excel spreadsheets.

Coordinate with production and stores team to ensure timely availability of materials.

Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery and resolve discrepancies in quality or quantity.

Support cost control initiatives by negotiating with vendors for the best pricing.

Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to purchase.

*Requirements*

Education: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or any relevant field.

Experience: 2–3 years in purchase department, preferably in SPM/Heavy Fabrication industry.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
