Rigging Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Rigging Expert to oversee and manage rigging and heavy lifting operations at our project site. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of rigging practices, lifting equipment, safety procedures, and compliance standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Rigging & Lifting Operations Expertise in planning, supervising, and executing heavy lifting, hoisting, and rigging activities in compliance with safety standards.
• Lifting Equipment Knowledge Strong understanding of cranes, hoists, shackles, slings, pulleys, spreader beams, and other rigging gear.
• Load Calculation & Capacity Planning Ability to calculate load weights, center of gravity, sling angles, and ensure safe load distribution.
• Safety Standards & Compliance In-depth knowledge of OSHA, ASME, IS, and international safety standards related to lifting and rigging.
• Rigging Plans & Drawings Skilled in preparing and interpreting rigging studies, lift plans, and technical drawings.
• Inspection & Certification Proficient in inspecting rigging equipment, ensuring certification, and identifying unsafe or defective gear.
• Cranes & Heavy Equipment Coordination – Hands-on experience coordinating with crane operators, signalmen, and lifting supervisors.
• Risk Assessment & Hazard Control – Ability to identify potential hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement control measures.
• Emergency Response – Trained in responding to rigging-related emergencies and incident prevention.
• Team Leadership & Training – Capable of leading rigging teams, providing toolbox talks, and training workers on safe lifting practices.
