Associate Trainee- IT Support

Responsibilities

· Act as the primary contact for employees requiring technical assistance, delivering professional and timely support.

· Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems, end-user devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and collaboration tools.

· Provide first-level support for network connectivity (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN), printing, and peripheral devices.

· Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software in accordance with IT policies.

· Monitor and manage support requests through the ticketing system, ensuring adherence to SLAs.

· Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate and resolve complex incidents.

· Contribute to IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and asset management.

· Participate in IT projects and initiatives, gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise environments.

Required Skills & Attributes

· Fundamental knowledge of Windows OS, hardware components, and networking basics (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).

· Awareness of Microsoft 365 / Office 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer-first approach.

· High adaptability, eagerness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
