4-Wheeler Mechanic – Job Description

Position: 4-Wheeler Mechanic

Department: Service / Workshop

Experience: Fresher / Experienced

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair petrol and diesel 4-wheeler vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacement, brake service, and wheel alignment.
• Inspect vehicle engine, mechanical and electrical components to identify issues.
• Repair or replace faulty parts such as suspension, brakes, clutches, steering components, and engine parts.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify technical problems.
• Conduct road tests to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
• Maintain service records and update job cards accurately.
• Ensure all work is done safely and according to manufacturer standards.
• Communicate vehicle issues and repair status to the service advisor or workshop in-charge.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of 4-wheeler engine systems and components.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
