Manager | Data Governance

The Data Governance team plays a pivotal role in executing Macquarie Asset Management's data strategy. Leveraging our deep expertise in data quality, data governance, and data management, we ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and trusted across the organisation.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will lead the design, launch, and ongoing support of data governance initiatives for both structured and unstructured data. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure our data governance aligns with business priorities and delivers actionable solutions. You will champion best practices in data management and contribute to the execution of our overall data strategy.

What you offer

• Strong expertise in data management, governance, quality, and metadata principles
• Proven experience implementing decentralized data governance and quality frameworks, including platforms like Collibra
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver governance requirements as a Product Owner
• Collaborative stakeholder management skills and experience mentoring team members
• Knowledge of data products, data sharing capabilities, and frameworks such as CDMC is advantageous
