Fabric Ouality Checker

Job Summary:

The Fabric Quality Checker is responsible for inspecting and evaluating fabric materials to ensure they meet defined quality standards and specifications before production. This role involves detecting fabric defects, recording results, and coordinating with production teams to maintain consistent fabric quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Primary Inspection Duties

· Inspect fabric rolls for defects such as stains, holes, uneven weave, color irregularities, and other quality issues.

· Use visual checks and inspection tools to ensure fabric meets specifications before production.

· Record and report defect types, fabric details, and quantities inspected.

Grading & Classification

· Grade and classify fabrics according to quality standards and company criteria.

· Tag defective or non-conforming fabrics for rework, rejection, or corrective action.

Testing & Measurements

· Measure fabric width, length, and basic parameters; perform simple tests like shrinkage or weight checks as required.

Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation for quality reporting. Communicate inspection outcomes to supervisors or quality teams.

·Coordination & Compliance

· Coordinate with production, warehouse, and QC teams on quality issues and corrective actions.

· Ensure inspections follow company quality standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's in Textile Technology/Apparel/Textile Science or related field
• 3+ years' experience in woven fabric QC/inspection or textile quality control.
• Good understanding of fabric types, quality parameters, and inspection methods.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12, ₹18,000.00 per month
