About the Job

Machine Maker is seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer (Contract Role) to support our web development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress websites while collaborating with our content and design teams. This is a remote opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and delivering high-quality results within deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
  • Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance.
  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure seamless functionality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP.
  • Ability to handle independent project delivery within timelines.
  • Good communication and attention to detail.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):

  • Knowledge of WooCommerce.
  • Familiarity with basic SEO practices.
  • Understanding of cPanel or website hosting setup.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹14, ₹15,000.00 per day
