Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, analyzing results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The candidate should have a qualification of DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology), Bachelor's, or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests according to established procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Prepare specimens, samples, and solutions for testing and analysis.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, and analyzers.
  • Analyze and interpret test results accurately, recording findings and maintaining detailed records.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory techniques and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including scientists, researchers, and technicians, as needed.
  • Participate in training programs and continuing education to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma (DMLT) or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment, procedures, and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
