Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

What does a successful Senior Accountant do?

You will work in a team supporting accountancy for our Polish subsidiary.

What you will do?
  • Record transactions and accounting documents in the accounting system;
  • Post in accordance with the accounting process; updating process documentation as needs arise;
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closures;
  • Check documents and transactions in the accounting system in the following areas: intercompany, fixed assets, leasing, other costs arising from VAT AND CIT settlements;
  • Settlement of balances in the general ledger;
  • Verification of the completeness of the accounting documentation including archiving of documents;
  • Liaise with the external supplier handling the AP process.
What you will need to have:
  • University degree in accounting or finance;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full-service accounting;
  • Knowledge of Polish accounting principles (knowledge of US GAAP would be an advantage);
  • Experience in working with accounting systems - SAP and Oracle are welcome;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel;
  • Practical knowledge of VAT, CIT, PIT;
  • Fluency in English and Polish;
  • Experience of working on the general ledger.
