Position Overview:

The Senior Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and hotel property. They will perform routine checks, monitor surveillance systems, respond to emergencies, and ensure the hotel's policies and safety protocols are followed. This role requires strong vigilance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of the hotel.

  • Access Control: Ensure that only authorized personnel and guests have access to restricted areas, including staff areas, guest rooms, and the hotel's parking facilities.

  • Incident Response: Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, including theft, guest disturbances, medical emergencies, and any other security-related matters.

  • Guest Assistance: Provide a high level of customer service by assisting guests with their security-related inquiries and ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.

  • Emergency Procedures: Be familiar with hotel emergency procedures, such as evacuation plans, fire drills, and medical emergencies, and take charge when necessary.

  • Report Writing: Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure a proper record of all security matters.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel departments, especially front desk and housekeeping, to report and resolve any security issues.

  • Monitoring Deliveries: Oversee the safe and secure receipt of deliveries and packages to the hotel to prevent theft or damage.
