Director Engineering Manager – Storage Software
We are looking for a technical leader and inspiring people manager with deep expertise in storage technologies to build, scale, and lead high-performing engineering teams delivering world-class storage solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow cross-functional engineering teams, including second- and third-level managers, fostering excellence and accountability.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for storage software products, ensuring innovation and timely delivery.
- Drive agile (Scrum-based) development practices with efficient CI/CD and DevOps integration.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and customer teams to align business goals and customer-focused outcomes.
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring high quality, performance, and reliability.
Requirements
- 7+ years in technical management, including 2+ years in senior leadership roles managing managers.
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in
C++/C
or similar languages. - Proven experience designing and delivering
storage systems or data infrastructure software
. - Strong knowledge of system software development, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer focus.
