Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of Commercial banking products and services including cash management services, current accounts time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange, Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop profitable SME LAP (Loan Against Property) relationships in Assets and seek out opportunities to actively market New To Bank business
  • Source business through the DSA (Direct Sales Agent) model and develop strong relationships with DSAs and referral partners
  • Handle an assigned portfolio for services and new business opportunities from existing customers
  • Coordinate with credit and other support functions from the sanction to disbursement process
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and business objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a proven track record of successful team leadership
  • Strong understanding of the SME lending market, including product knowledge, credit assessment, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with customers, DSAs, and internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving to drive informed decision-making
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver results
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Thorough understanding of the bank's policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
