Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end commercial interior design projects from inception to handover
  • Coordinate with internal design teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design intent, quality standards, and compliance codes
  • Conduct regular site visits to track progress, quality checks, and resolve issues
  • Manage procurement schedules and logistics of materials and furnishings
  • Ensure clear and timely communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including contracts, BOQs, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Mitigate project risks and resolve problems as they arise
  • Ensure timely handover and client satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in project management within commercial interior design or fit-out projects
  • Strong understanding of interior design processes, construction, and MEP coordination
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Trello, Primavera, etc.) and design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and procurement practices
  • PMP certification (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
