We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Site Reliability Engineer to join our Emerging Tech team. Company : Aqilea India Employment Type: Full Time Location: Bangalore(Hybrid) Experience: 8 to 10 years About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer with strong expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines, managing large-scale datasets, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure (cloud/on-prem). Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions, frameworks, and automations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design stable, reliable solutions. Lead incident response efforts and participate in on-call rotations. Develop runbooks and troubleshoot critical issues. Implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions. Advocate for DevOps/SRE best practices within the engineering team. Optimize system performance through monitoring and alerting solutions. Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards. Create and maintain documentation; mentor junior team members. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Experience Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python). Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies. Experience with incident and problem management. Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (Microsoft Azure or GCP). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions). Familiarity with observability tools (Splunk, Grafana). Experience with version control systems (Git). Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
