Payrix by FIS is a modern platform that provides Payments Facilitation (PayFac) as a service with a full suite of payments and risk management services built for vertical Saas companies. **What you will be doing**:

- Ingesting and managing data in AWS-based data stores including S3, Glue, Athena etc.
- Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies
- Collaborate with portal, operations, risk and finance teams to recognize and help adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity/quality, pipelines analysis, validation, and documentation
- Help continually improve ongoing data ingestion, engineering, reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for our partners

**What you bring**:

- Good experience with schema design and data modeling.
- Good experience in writing SQL queries.
- Experience in python (spark) based ETL design, implementation and maintenance.
- Some ML experience
- Familiarity working with either Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Presto, Map Reduce or an MPP system.
- Good communication skills
- Experience with AWS big data platform
- AWS S3, Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Lambda
- AWS CLI, SDK, IAM
- Highly motivated and open-minded with an attitude of learning and solving tough tech problems
- A team player and a problem solver with a positive mindset
