HEI Schools Sector 49 Gurugram is looking for **Assisting** **Teachers **who will be working closely with Lead Teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education to children. Your role will involve assisting in classroom management, implementing instructional activities, and providing individualized support to children to ensure their socio-emotional wellbeing and personal growth. **Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Development**:

- Assist the Lead Teachers in designing and implementing the age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, based on HEI Curriculum Materials and local curriculum mandates
- Work with the Lead Teachers in creating a balanced curriculum that includes play-based learning, arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor activities.
- Support the educational team and organize the daily practices in the group

**Classroom Engagement and Management**:

- Inspire a love for learning through assisting the design of curriculum and programmes.
- Support and maintain a structured and organized classroom environment conducive to each child’s learning needs.
- Create positive learning environment in the classroom and encourage holistic growth among children

**Instructional Support**:

- Assist Lead Teacher in planning and executing the lesson plans and learning engagements
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to children who require additional support or enrichment
- Utilize instructional materials and resources effectively to enhance learning experiences

**Student Assessment**:

- Assist in assessing children’s progress through observation, and informal assessments.
- Provide feedback to the Lead Teacher on students' performance

**Individualized Support**:

- Offer academic and emotional support to children, addressing their individual needs and learning styles.
- Collaborate with Lead Teachers to develop differentiated tasks for children’s individualized support

**Safety and Well-being**:

- Ensure the all round safety and well-being of all children in the classroom and during outdoor activities.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper supervision, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
- Set up processes on proper courses of action for the protection of children and follow them during each activity
- Support a safe and healthy environment within the classroom and school
- Work with the Head of School to build quality learning environments.

**Professional Development**:

- Active and enthusiastic approach towards staying updated on the current trends, research, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

**Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in the team meetings, workshops, and plan sessions for curriculum implementation along with other team members

**Diversity and inclusion**
- Open to understand various cultures and align teaching methodologies to inculcate diversity and inclusivity in the classroom
- Ability to work with children from various cultures and background

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred) with at least 1 to 3 years of experience
- An International Teacher’s diploma will be an added advantage

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with young children in a Daycare or Preschool, preferably in an International school.
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories, practices, and methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- International teaching experience will be an added advantage
- Patience, empathy, passion and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs and learning styles of children.
- Proficient computer skills for maintaining records and communication
