Introduction:
What will you be doing?
- Gather requirements and ability to perform effort estimation for a given piece of work.
- Develop quality code using technologies specified in Job purpose
- Passion for writing readable, performing, maintainable and extensible code
- Creating and maintaining unit tests with an aim for code coverage
- Ensuring code written meets the predefined company and department standards
- Providing support during SIT, QA and UAT test phases
- Strictly follow Barclays standard release management processes
- Ability to juggle priorities, multi
- task and flawlessly execute at speed

What we’re looking for:

- Basic understanding of database CRUD operations
- Good understanding of basic OOPs concepts and dot net framework
- Basic understanding of SOLID design principles, Dependency Injection
- Basic understanding of writing automated unit testing using NUnit / XUnit, Mocking framework.
- Basic understanding of BDD using Specflow.
- Basic understanding of tools like JIRA, Git\Bit Bucket, Team City, etc.
- Should be able to drive and deliver the assigned tasks independently.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Angular
- REST API development using Asp.Net Core.
- Document Database - No SQL (Mongo DB or Document DB)
- Docker, Containers
- Open shift \ Kubernetes
- Understanding of Agile SDLC concepts; Understanding of Scrum/Kanban Agile SDLC methodology
- Working in DevOps automation environment
- Take initiatives to find room for automation of processes and develop innovative utilities to achieve it
- Exposure to agile software development using tools like Rally, JIRA
- Ability to pick up new technologies and business knowledge quickly
