3g Welder

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **3G welding** on various metal structures using arc welding techniques.
- Read and interpret **blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings**.
- Prepare welding surfaces by cleaning and grinding as needed.
- Conduct quality checks and inspect welds for precision, strength, and accuracy.
- Work on **construction, fabrication, or plant maintenance projects** within the AM/NS facility.
- Follow all **safety protocols** and ensure safe work practices in a high-risk environment.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
- Cooperate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to complete work as per timelines.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a **3G Welder** in an industrial or heavy fabrication environment.
- Ability to work **12-hour rotational shifts** (including night shifts if required).
- Familiarity with **welding safety standards**, PPE usage, and hazard identification.
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions (heat, confined spaces, etc.).
- Knowledge of different welding materials, electrodes, and welding defects.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in 3G welding from a recognized institute.
- Prior experience working in **steel plants, refineries, or industrial construction** sites.
- Basic knowledge of 4G/6G welding will be an advantage.
