**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Architect and Design the Microservices architecture for the multiple services for a Cloud Platform
- Closely work with the Product Managers to translate the market requirements into the technical and functional requirements for consumer device segment
- Responsible for global governance and integration of the technology stack
- Responsible for QDC targets - Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Assess product requirements including design, Infrastructure, cost and develop competency plans to achieve required technical skills for Cloud platforms
- Support platform tests, automation, and validation projects
- Technical reviewer and sign off authority for service architecture and design
- Conduct POCs to resolve the technical dilemmas for a quick problem resolution
- Compliance to Quality Management Systems and QuEST policies and processes
- Interface with chief architects, Engineering leaders and specialists in customers organisations for developing managed service strategies and performing critical milestone reviews
- Liaison with customers and team leaders at US, UK, and India for managing requirements and integrations
- Project lifecycle management (initiation to closure) including project health tracking and reporting of larger projects, tasks, or modules

**Required Skills (Technical Competency)**:

- Solid understanding of full stack agile SDLC with Spring Framework, REST/HTTP based
- Microservices and design patterns as discovery, circuit breaker, etc.
- Extensive Core Java/J2EE experience with Collections, Data Structures, Multi-threaded programming, JAX-RS, Hibernate, JPA experience
- Strong relational database skills in Oracle and/or SQL Server
- Strong experience in SOAP / REST based webservices, Web Frameworks with XML and JSON parsing and handling
- Cloud based development experience with exposure to Cloud Infrastructure and technologies such as AWS S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, AWS RDS, DynamoDB et. al.
