Tester - Automation and Functional

Take ownership of establishing and developing our automation framework. Write new automation tests for existing and new projects. Add to the breadth and depth of existing feature tests coverage, as well as create new test scenarios and keep them up to date. Ensure that any errors are identified and picked up. Configure Azure pipelines and agents to run the tests, investigate and troubleshoot issues. Participate in functional testing when needed to help learn the features and understand the functional tests as well as come up with them while then automating some.
- Create test data SQL server and CouchDB (or other NoSQL DocDB ie MongoDB/Raven)
- Defect reporting and verification of fixes
- Create tests for existing functionality as well as new features developed
- Experience in testing on Mobile First Applications and platforms
- Cross browser and cross device testing
- Load / Performance test is a bonus
- Experience with test management tools like MS Test Manager or similar
**Requirements**:
- Selenium and other tools.
- Java
- Jira, Zepher
- Azure CI/CD Agents
- GIT
- Fluent English skills, both written and verbal to effectively communicate.
- Able to communicate complex issues simply with different stakeholders at different levels of knowledge and technical competency.
- Attention to detail is a must
- Goal and Results orientated and Motivated
- Quick learner, hit the ground running & get up to speed fast
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be a team player but also able to work independently
- Are passionate about your work
- Has set up an automation framework from scratch end to end.
- Has taken over an existing framework and continued to develop and improve it. Has worked as a functional tester.
