- Initiate and manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
- Oversee the planning and implementation of dialysis treatments for patients.
- Evaluate patients for kidney transplantation eligibility.
- Coordinate with transplant teams for pre-transplant care and post-transplant follow-up.
- Educate patients on managing kidney health, lifestyle changes, and the importance of adherence to prescribed medications and dialysis regimens.
- Provide information regarding dietary restrictions and fluid intake for kidney patients.
