**Job Description**:
**Control-M Scheduling and Administration (L3)**

Control-M Environment Management:
Install, configure, and maintain the Control-M environment, including Control-M/Server, Control-M/Enterprise Manager, Control-M Agents, and related components.
Monitor the Control-M infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for the Control-M environment.

Job Scheduling and Workflow Management:
Create and maintain job definitions, calendars, and scheduling conditions in Control-M to meet operational needs.
Monitor job execution and troubleshoot issues related to job failures, dependencies, and resource allocation.
Optimize workflows and job dependencies to improve efficiency and meet SLAs.

**Primary Skills**:
Control-M Environment Management:
Install, configure, and maintain the Control-M environment, including Control-M/Server, Control-M/Enterprise Manager, Control-M Agents, and related components.
Monitor the Control-M infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for the Control-M environment.

Job Scheduling and Workflow Management:
Create and maintain job definitions, calendars, and scheduling conditions in Control-M to meet operational needs.
Monitor job execution and troubleshoot issues related to job failures, dependencies, and resource allocation.
Optimize workflows and job dependencies to improve efficiency and meet SLAs.

System Performance and Optimization:
Monitor Control-M performance metrics and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
Tune Control-M configurations, parameters, and resource allocations to maximize system performance.
Analyze system utilization and workload patterns to optimize resource usage and scalability.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure Control-M is running on an optimal hardware and network infrastructure.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Control-M Administrator in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Control-M architecture, components, and integration with other systems.
Proficiency in Control-M installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Solid understanding of job scheduling concepts, dependencies, and workload automation principles.
Experience in troubleshooting Control-M-related issues and performing root cause analysis.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python, Powershell) for automation and customization purposes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
