Job Summary:
—

Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert care to critically ill patients in the ICU and other acute care areas.

Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures as required (e.g., intubation, central line insertion, arterial line, etc.).

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and emergency medicine physicians.

Lead the ICU team including junior doctors, nurses, and technicians.

Regularly assess and monitor patients, making timely clinical decisions.

Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.

Educate and train medical staff and residents on critical care protocols.

Participate in case discussions, morbidity & mortality meetings, and audits.

Required Qualifications:
Education: MD/DNB in Critical Care Medicine or MD in Internal Medicine/Anesthesia with a fellowship in Critical Care.

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of independent ICU experience post-MD/DNB.

Valid registration with MCI/NMC.

BLS and ACLS certification preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage high-stress, emergency situations with composure and efficiency.
