Hostel Warden

**Qualifications**:

- Should be Graduated at any stream.
- Should have experience in hostel management or a similar role. Experience in an educational institution is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in managing hostel operations and handling student issues. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Empathetic, approachable, and capable of maintaining authority while being supportive. Ability to handle conflict and work under pressure.
- Full-time position with on-call responsibilities, including evenings and weekends.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Student Supervision and Welfare**:

- Oversee the daily activities and well-being of hostel residents.
- Address student queries, concerns, and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
- Foster a positive living environment and ensure students adhere to hostel rules and regulations.

**Accommodation Management**:

- Manage the allocation of rooms and ensure optimal use of hostel facilities.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and maintenance of hostel facilities.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address any issues or repairs needed.

**Disciplinary Oversight**:

- Implement and enforce hostel rules and regulations, including those related to behavior, curfew, and safety.
- Handle disciplinary matters and conflicts among residents, following institutional guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain records of disciplinary actions and incidents.

**Health and Safety**:

- Ensure the safety and security of hostel residents, including conducting regular safety drills and inspections.
- Monitor health and hygiene standards within the hostel and address any concerns promptly.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities as needed.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of hostel operations, including resident information, attendance, and incident reports.
- Prepare and submit reports to institutional leadership on hostel activities and issues.
- Manage hostel budgets and expenditures, including procurement of supplies and amenities.

**Coordination and Communication**:

- Act as a liaison between students, parents, and institutional staff to ensure effective communication and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as academic and administrative staff, to support student needs and activities.
- Organize and oversee hostel-related events, meetings, and activities.

**Resident Support and Development**:

- Promote a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages personal growth and development among residents.
- Provide guidance and support for students in adjusting to hostel life and academic pressures.
- Facilitate educational and recreational activities to enhance the hostel experience.

Able to join immediately or within short notice period.

The Hostel Warden is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the hostel facilities within the educational institution. This role involves ensuring a safe, secure, and conducive living environment for students, addressing their needs, and overseeing the daily operations of the hostel.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
