AVPN is a unique funders’ network committed to building a vibrant and high-impact social investment community across Asia. AVPN’s mission is to catalyse the movement toward a more strategic, collaborative, and outcome-focused approach to social investing, ensuring that resources are deployed as effectively as possible to address key social challenges facing Asia today and in the future.

AVPN’s Policy Team aims to support governments in Asia in developing policies and strategies to propel the growth of the Impact Economy. The team focuses on leading developments in strategic philanthropy, impact investing, and blended finance and will work to ensure that the voice of the AVPN membership is heard amongst key policy influencers and decision-makers at the national, regional, and global levels. We are looking for an Associate to join the team. The role will support the team in implementing and coordinating projects and events. Through this work, you will gain valuable insights into policy developments and the fast-growing social investment sector in Asia-Pacific. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Policy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide project coordination support to events and programmes.
- Assist with policy analysis and reports.
- Support AVPN teams delivering programmes that include policy elements, including climate, gender, and youth livelihoods.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
- Assist with gathering inputs for status reports for the management team.

**Requirements**:

- Educational requirements: Bachelor's in Public Policy, Public Administration, Development Studies or relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project management, programme management or related field.
- Strong interest in social investment, blended finance, or philanthropy.
- You meet deadlines and independently follow through on all assigned responsibilities.
- You prioritise your work effectively while managing several projects.
- You have a superb eye for detail and thoroughness.
- You have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for your work.
- You are a team player, able to work well in teams and individually. Able to work remotely, coordinating and communicating actively across different geographies.
- You are a clear writer and an effective verbal communicator.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
