Material Handler

**Job Summary**
The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring all materials are supplied to the assigned production work area. Inventory Control team to keep accurate inventory counts in the assigned location. This position performs activities that are complex in nature and works with a limited degree of supervision. To co-ordinate with Stores office for recording incoming and outgoing materials accurately.
**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Receipt of materials, Physical count / check, and store in respective bins / location.
- To report shortages / damages.
- To ensure proper and continuous control over Inventory, Good housekeeping.
- To ensure and report on minimum inventory holding, report on non-moving & slow-moving materials.
- Provide information about samples, Warranty materials received.
- Provide information about shipping discrepancy.
- Packing materials for dispatches / Co-ordinate with packers. To ensure error free and timely dispatches.
- Timely physical verification of stocks at regular intervals. Ensure that physical stock tallies with Book Stock.
- Preparation of kits as per the Bill of materials / Drawing and issue for production.
- Should know to operate Fork-lift, EOT crane.
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- II PUC / ITI / Diploma passed certification.
- Know to read / write & speak English.
- Know to work on computer (Excel & word)
- Should have driving license.
- 2 to 5 years work experience in a manufacturing industry.
**Preferred Skills and Abilities**
- Forklift driving
- Working knowledge on Computer ( Excel & Word ),
- Good spoken English
