Laboratory Assistant

**Job Title**: Laboratory Assistant (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology Labs)

**Salary**: ₹10,000 - ₹15,000 per month

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lab Preparation**: Assist in preparing and setting up experiments for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology practicals as per the curriculum.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure all laboratory equipment and instruments are in good working condition. Report any damages or issues to the school administration for timely repairs.
- **Safety & Hygiene**: Maintain cleanliness in all labs, ensuring safety protocols are followed, including handling chemicals and equipment carefully. Ensure the proper storage of chemicals and specimens.
- **Inventory Management**: Keep track of lab supplies, such as chemicals, glassware, and other materials. Assist in ordering replacements or new supplies when needed.
- **Student Assistance**: Support teachers during practical sessions by helping students with the safe and proper use of lab equipment and materials.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of experiments, inventory, and safety inspections.
- **Assistance to Teachers**: Provide any additional administrative support to the science faculty when required.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: MSc and B.Ed is must
- **Experience**: Previous experience as a lab assistant or working in a scientific environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- **Technical Skills**: Basic knowledge of science lab equipment and instruments, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- **Safety Awareness**: Strong understanding of lab safety standards and the ability to enforce them in the lab.
- **Communication**: Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
