Botany, and Zoology

Position: Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Department: Learning Academy

Location: Pondicherry

Experience: Minimum 3 years in teaching Higher Secondary level (Grades 9-12)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:
We are seeking highly knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Experts

(SMEs) in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology to join our academic

teaching higher secondary level students and will be responsible for developing,

reviewing, and refining academic content for textbooks and supplementary

educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Content Development:

- Develop and create high-quality academic content, including textbook

chapters, practice questions, and solutions, for higher secondary level

Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
- Ensure that all content aligns with the latest curriculum standards and

examination patterns.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and editors to integrate visual aids,

diagrams, and illustrations into the content.
- Content Review and Editing:

- Review and edit academic content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and

appropriateness for the target student audience.
- Perform quality checks to ensure that content is free from errors and is

scientifically sound.
- Provide constructive feedback to junior content developers and

freelancers, ensuring consistency and high standards in all content.
- Research and Curriculum Alignment:
areas and incorporate new findings into the content.
- Align content with various educational boards' syllabi (e.g., CBSE,

State Boards, ICSE) to cater to a broader audience.
- Conduct competitive analysis to ensure that the company's publications

are at the forefront of the market.
- Training and Support:

- Conduct training sessions for junior content developers and freelancers

new academic products and projects.
- Collaboration:

- Work closely with the editorial and production teams to ensure timely

delivery of content.
- Collaborate with other SMEs to maintain consistency and coherence

Qualifications:
Chemistry, Botany, or Zoology).
- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching higher secondary level

students (Grades 9-12).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in academic content development or publishing is a plus.

Skills Required:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality educational

content.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and content development tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
