Interior Designer

A **Senior Interior Designer cum Sales Representative** at an Interior Designing Firm plays a dual role: leading the design process and driving sales. Below are the key responsibilities:
**Design Responsibilities**:

- **Concept Development**:

- Lead the conceptualization and creation of interior design plans for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Develop mood boards, color palettes, layouts, and 3D renderings to visualize design ideas for clients.
- **Client Consultation & Needs Assessment**:

- Meet with clients to assess their design preferences, lifestyle, budget, and space requirements.
- Translate client requirements into functional and aesthetic design concepts.
- Provide design solutions that align with the client's vision, style, and budget.
- **Design Execution & Project Management**:

- Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality execution of designs.
- Monitor design progress, ensuring the project stays within budget and timelines.
- **Material & Product Selection**:

- Recommend and source furniture, fixtures, and materials that align with the project’s vision and the client’s requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with design trends, new materials, and products to provide innovative solutions.
- **Supervision & Mentorship**:

- Mentor and guide junior designers and team members to maintain high design standards and project quality.
- Provide leadership on design-related issues and troubleshooting during the execution phase.

**Sales Responsibilities**:

- **Lead Generation & Client Acquisition**:

- Proactively generate new business opportunities by identifying potential clients in both residential and commercial sectors.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences to generate leads.
- Leverage personal and professional networks to attract new clients.
- **Client Relationship Management**:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their design needs, anticipate changes, and provide consistent service.
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients and the design team throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Sales Presentations & Proposals**:

- Present tailored interior design proposals and presentations to clients.
- Demonstrate design expertise and solutions to convince clients to proceed with the firm's services.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, design proposals, and contracts for prospective clients.
- **Negotiation & Closing Sales**:

- Negotiate contracts, project terms, and pricing with clients to secure deals.
- Guide clients through the decision-making process, addressing any concerns and objections to close sales.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, approvals, and contracts are completed.
- **Sales Target Achievement**:

- Meet or exceed personal and team sales targets and goals.
- Track sales performance, client conversion rates, and revenue generation.
- **Collaboration with the Design and Sales Teams**:

- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure that client needs and preferences are effectively communicated and executed.
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors to deliver projects efficiently and within scope.
- **Market Research & Trend Awareness**:

- Stay up to date with interior design trends, market demands, and competitor offerings to offer innovative solutions.
- Understand client preferences and industry needs to effectively promote the firm's services.
- **Marketing and Promotion**:

- Support marketing efforts by promoting the firm’s portfolio, services, and capabilities to attract new clients.
- Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- **Client Aftercare & Upselling**:

- Provide after-sale services to ensure client satisfaction.
- Upsell or cross-sell additional design services or products to existing clients.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Strong sales and business development acumen.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of design principles, trends, materials, and project management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to lead design teams and deliver client-focused solutions.

Pay: ₹9,764.52 - ₹20,000.00 per month
