1. Often work under the guidance of senior architects, assisting them with various tasks related to architectural design, drafting, and project management.

2. Participating in the development of architectural designs, including creating sketches, drawings, and digital models using software such as AutoCAD, Lumion, SketchUp, or other design tools.

3. Conducting research on zoning laws, building codes, materials, and construction techniques. Analyzing site conditions and constraints to inform design decisions.

4. Assisting in the preparation of presentations, renderings, and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

5. Contributing to the preparation of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details. Ensuring that drawings are accurate and comply with relevant standards and regulations.

6. Collaborating with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other professionals involved in the design and construction process. Coordinating design changes and resolving conflicts as they arise.

7. Assisting in project management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and procurement. Tracking project progress and deadlines to ensure timely completion.

8. Communicating with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and feedback. Participating in client meetings and presentations to address questions and concerns.

9. Reviewing drawings, models, and other deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

10. Continuously learning and improving technical skills, design knowledge, and understanding of industry trends. Participating in training programs, workshops, and professional development activities.

11. Visiting construction sites to observe progress, address issues, and verify that construction is proceeding according to the design intent.

12. Integrating sustainable design principles and practices into architectural projects, such as energy efficiency, passive design strategies, and green building materials.

13. Ensuring that designs comply with relevant building codes, accessibility standards, and regulations. Staying updated on changes in codes and regulations that may affect design decisions.
