Technical Requirements
- 18+ Years experience in Electrical Design for infrastructure projects (Roads & highways, Road Tunnels), Ports, Industrial & Commercial Building projects for Middle East /India Projects.
- Preparation, Review and production of Electrical Design for EHV, HV, MV, LV network, Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network drawings for Roads & highways, Road Tunnels, Ports, Industrial buildings, Pumping station, Water Treatment Plant, MV Substation.
- Space planning for EHV substation.
- Preparation of Power Transmission & Distribution network layout drawings.
- Hands on experience in design calculation (Load flow, short circuit) through ETAP is mandatory.
- Design Calculation: Street lighting, High Mast Area Lighting, Cable sizing & Voltage drop, Earthing, Fault level, Corridor sizing.
- Calculation Software Knowledge required: ETAP, Dialux, AGI, Amtech.
- Should have experience in leading technical design team of engineers and designers.
- Should have knowledge of Middle East Codes and Standards.
- Familiarity with the design approval Process
- Must be familiar with related design software’s like Auto
- CAD, Revit, NAVISWORK,

**Responsibilities**:

- To serve as technical advisor for team.
- To provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- To develop design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective solution.
- To participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- To participate in bid and to estimate technical efforts for projects.
- To perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- To prepare technical reports including Technical Specifications, Design Basis report and other technical reports required for the project.
- To ensure timely submission of the design deliverables.
- To Track & monitor the progress w.r.t delivery timeline.
- To arrange training and plan for the development of team members.
- Guide team to optimize effort for day-to-day design work and guide them toward increasing their efficiency
- Leads a team of select engineers and designer to carry out the design activity
- Provide guidance to the team of select engineers and designers
- Carry out detail design, sizing, calculation
- Verify and check the design done by others
- Prepare and Check Equipment Specification, Datasheet, Material Requisition
- Technical Bid Analysis of Vendor Offer, Vendor Drawing Review of Electrical Equipment such as HV/LV Switchgear, Transformer, AC/DC UPS, Bulk Materials, Motors, VFD
- Ensure Compliance with HSE
- Knowledge of Various International Standards Such as IEC, IEEE etc.
- Knowledge of Lighting Design and Lighting Control System for Industrial and Office Buildings
- Power System Study and Protection Skills
- Grounding and Lightning Protection Design
- Knowledge of Saudi Electric Company Standards and HCIS (High Commission of Industrial Security) Standards will be added advantage
- Knowledge of Cathodic Protection System
- Co-ordinate all activity with other engineering disciplines stream for the projects
- Co-ordinate all activity within the engineering disciplines stream for the projects
- Co-ordinate with Client, Prepare Comment Resolution Sheet
- Ability to convince Client Engineer over technical issues
- Ensure Quality Check and Implementation of Engineering Procedures
