Job Purpose:
Position Overview:
Location: Chennai

Position Title: CTG - Colour, Trims and Graphics

Reports to: Group Manager - CTG

Function: Genuine Motorcycle Accessories

What you’ll do:

- Forecast and analyze colour, material and finish trends.
- Drive CTG design for interdisciplinary projects, from kick-off to launch and deliver CTG designs against the projects.
- Working closely alongside Royal Enfield teams eg. Industrial Design/CAS/GMA/MSE/Branding/CGI etc. to develop exciting CTG proposals
- Study design briefs and determine product requirements.
- Analyze Design Brand DNA as it relates to the vehicle line and create appropriate designs.
- Prepare concept rendering in computer graphics (CG) software (Adobe Creative Suite) and present them for reviews both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines such as engineering, and vendors to execute on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Work with suppliers to develop and design innovative solutions for different materials, surface effects and color proposals.
- Research new materials and technologies, identify and benchmark relevant competitors, encouraging awareness of trends inside and outside the automotive industry
- Keep abreast of Design/Color/Materials/ Technical/ Other Trends developments within automotive/other industries
- Lead the implementation of different projects that provide a maximum of visual and tactile impact and inspiration
- Keep abreast of latest developments and trends by attending trade fairs to be aware of current trends, new materials and innovative technologies.

Work Experience

What you'll bring:
**Experience**:

- 3+ years’ experience including at least 5+ years in a professional design studio environment on production projects
- Motorcycle enthusiasm, creativity, curiosity, passion as well as awareness of Global Markets
- Resilience, effectively under pressure, remains optimistic and persistent while working towards tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience working towards tight deadlines as well as working closely with fellow team members
- Ability to formalize, select and harmonize the right colors, graphics and materials.
- Ability to industrialize the concept ideas.
- The skill to drive design projects, both independently and within a small team.
- Exceptional visual, communicational and presentation skills
- Have exceptional design intuition, strong problem-solving skills and an ability to visually communicate through sketches, and renderings
- Ability to think three-dimensionally with a strong emphasis on proportions and a refined sense of form
- Knowledge of transportation and product design manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of mass production, manufacturing processes and material.
- Demonstrated experience in Adobe
- Illustrator and Photoshop software

Qualification: Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive/ Transportation/Industrial/ Graphic Design (or similar)
