Purchase Casting Executive

The Casting and Stainless Steel Material Purchase Executive is responsible for the sourcing, purchasing, and management of casting materials and stainless steel components used in manufacturing and production. The individual in this role will manage supplier relationships, monitor inventory levels, and ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials for production requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sourcing and Procurement**:

- Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers for casting and stainless steel materials, ensuring high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Negotiate prices, terms, delivery schedules, and payment conditions with suppliers.
- Place orders for casting materials (e.g., metal casting components, alloys) and stainless steel (e.g., sheets, bars, coils) as per production needs.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain optimal inventory levels of casting materials and stainless steel to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
- Monitor material usage and reorder levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Regularly check stock levels, track consumption trends, and adjust procurement plans as necessary.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers of casting materials and stainless steel.
- Resolve any supplier-related issues such as delayed deliveries, discrepancies in quality, or pricing disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Evaluate and assess suppliers periodically based on quality, delivery performance, and pricing.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all materials purchased meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to perform material inspections upon receipt and take appropriate actions for any non-conforming materials.

- Prepare purchase orders for casting and stainless steel materials based on production forecasts and requirements.
- Track and manage the status of purchase orders and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier invoices, and other procurement-related documents.
- **Cost Control and Budget Management**:

- Monitor and manage costs associated with purchasing casting materials and stainless steel.
- Explore opportunities to reduce costs through negotiation, alternative sourcing, or bulk purchasing.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets for material procurement, and ensure all purchases stay within budget.
- **Market Research and Analysis**:

- Stay updated on market trends, material prices, and technological advancements related to casting and stainless steel.
- Conduct market research to find new suppliers or alternatives that may provide better cost savings or quality improvements.
- Provide regular reports to management on material price trends and supplier performance.
- **Compliance and Regulatory Standards**:

- Ensure that all materials purchased comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Stay informed about any changes in regulations related to casting and stainless steel materials and implement necessary changes in procurement practices.
