Introduction:
Managing Pre and Post settlement for OTC Derivative trades
- Develop and manage operational relationships with our clients through pro-active reconciliation of pre-settlement and post-settlement of payments/receipts with each client. Provide management support and oversight for process and act as escalation point for day to day operations

What will you be doing?
- Responsible for recruitment of staff and ensuring that all new joiners undergo standard training on derivatives products and processes
- Setting staff objectives for ongoing staff development and conducting appraisals
- Responsible for directing the day-to-day operations for the team, including:

- Allocation and oversight of daily tasks.
- Production of team MIS with detailed commentary for management reporting
- Management oversight of all KRI’s and KPI’s and addressing all high-risk metrics promptly
- Extensive knowledge of derivative products and the front-to-back processes within Post Trade Services, and ensuring that the knowledge is shared across the team
- Ensuring all applicable governance, compliance, risk policies and procedures are adhered to
- Oversight of UAT to ensure that quality testing is completed and all issues for the team are resolved
- First level management escalation point for all high priority issues
- Key representative from the department to engage in strategic initiatives discussions with colleagues globally and communicate the expected requirements and impact for the team
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across various functions/asset classes
- Decision making and problem solving in a timely manner to avoid any major issues
- Manage and address queries raised by the client and other stakeholders
- Responsible for identifying, analyzing issues and resolving issues, prevent any re-Occurrence and reducing loss to the business
- Provide support in terms of process management to team members
- Measure performance of the team for e.g. performance appraisals, providing feeding, trainings
- Update senior leaders with the performance of the team and daily updates related to process and people
- Handling daily checks for the team and ensure the open actions are closed in timely manner
- Positively support and contribute to team building and team dynamics through personally displaying team quality
- Create Risk awareness within team and to collaborate with CCO partner for regular sessions
- Perform controls and checks to ensure data accuracy
- Automate manual BAU processes to improve productivity where possible
- To be on top of daily FX settlements and Nostro Break management
- Creating sufficient backups within team and across CHE/PUNE location to avoid hassle on BCM situations
- Possess strong process knowledge and pick up daily BAU tasks at the time of staffing/critical situations
- Ensure timely and efficient business delivery and Ensure adherence to SLAs
- Ensure to work diligently on Projects. Engage proactively with Project Team, Desk and other stakeholders till the completion
- Ensure to meet the governance with regards to RCSA, SOP updation and various Operational risks related activities
